As you may have noticed, I have been out of sorts the past couple weeks…and here is why:
Now Mom’s, a vacation with children is kind of deceiving. When you think of the word vacation, the actual definition is:
an extended period of recreation, especially one spent away from home or in traveling.
Some synonyms with vacation you would think are rest, peace, and relaxation. Well, when going on a vacation with children… these words may elude you. However, I have learned that it’s only I who can control myself… I canNOT control those around me. So vacation was a vacation.
We did complete the word vacation and we had a blast doing it.
Memories were made.
Miles were logged.
And tourist traps were visited.
With 4 children, and especially our family, I decided I needed to keep a diary of the daily events. This week, I will be sharing with you my diary. This is to give you a peek into my life. But also, to show you how the blessings God gives us are in the eye of the beholder.
A Mom’s Diary on Vacation
Make sure and stick around this week, I will have a post EACH day sharing my diary with you. You will get a good laugh every day I am sure.
To kick it off first I want to share with you a few tidbits to wet your appetite.
Oh, and here is reality:
I can’t wait to share with you my “diary” this week. Mom’s you will feel me on this. Are you going on vacation this summer? or are you having a Staycation? I’d love to hear from you!!
Have a Happy Monday friends!!!
Psalm 91: 1-2
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
