It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas (dum-de-dum-de-dooo) Everywhere You Go. (WOOOHOOOO)
Yes, I have started listening to Christmas music…Already. I know I know, it’s still October. But I don’t care. I love Christmas, I love Christmas music, I love that time of year, I love celebrating my Savior’s birthday 🙂
You know how I am about wreaths…and about trying to use all the natural elements I can find…and I live in the South. AND everywhere I look there is a Magnolia Tree.
So, guess what I am doing?
Magnolia theme Christmas decor.
Now, I personally don’t own a Magnolia tree. This is only a minor bump in the road people. I am an extrovert. And I really don’t mind going up to people’s houses, knocking on their door, and asking for the use of their plants. They always love to give. I get the natural elements I need, I make a friend, and they get some joy because It is always more blessed to give than receive.
I have collected some of my favorites so far. Make sure and follow me on Pinterest, you’ll be getting lots of good ideas 🙂
This is from Classical Casual Home. All fresh elements and a wire wreath. I absolutely love it. Plus, adding the red Nandina berries, sweet.
This is from Lucy at Craftberry Bush. I met Lucy at the Haven Conference I attended. And I can tell you, she really is this creative. Plus, I can’t help it: isn’t the dog adorable?
This DIY Magnolia Garland from the Sweetest Occasion is perfect and simple. I have a mantle that the hubs recently made for me. I
possibly definitely will see this in my house 🙂
This wreath from Southern State of Mind, she made this for $1!!
$1 people. That’s crazy ya’ll.
I love how Southern Living used both sides of the Magnolia leaf to add pops of color. Genius.
So I’m seeing a pattern here. I think I will be decorating a lot with natural elements. I’m going to see how cheap I can do it. I’m sure hubby will appreciate that.
Yes, I know today is Halloween. But, well, I’m ready to get this time of year rolling. It’s time to celebrate Jesus, My family, and this season. I love it!!
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Here’s a little song to get your Monday going 🙂
